Nice...... Also, ive been reading a book that is mentioning a certain STuG unit involved with the 5th FJ Div at the Battle of the Bulge. Oh and, this book had some material given to the author who used it in this book-by my friend Jurg Herzig in Switzerland.

hey ya Carl let me know on the Stug info's..... more UJ's. closely associated with coastal boots like Vorposten though the UJ's are heavily loaded with mines.

Da wenno. Carpo, I shoulda written it down thinking you may have wanted it or id post it now. . Its in the book id mentioned elsewhere where my friend Jurg had given some good material for the author to use. Its in: Patton At the Battle of the Bulge. The bookstore is sold out, but I have a copy at home. I THINK?/ it may be the 11th STuG Brigade?? Anyway, they were situated with o near the 5th Fallschirmjager Division.

sounds very familiar Carl one of the 2 Fallshirm Stug units was in the Bulge operation..... // the most common award given to the U-jager personnel for their service. the Minenabzeichen. This is marked AS on the back in my collection ~

Hi E, more great additions, and I read in a book about the Korean War, that at least one surviving U Jager was used by the NK navy at the beginning of the war0but was either badly damaged or sunk by British aircraft. Ill see if I can get more on that.

Also, it was the 11th STuG bde w/ the 5th FJ Div. I dont have time today but wll try this week to see what all is said?
