Neat. Know a few guys locally that do reenacting from the 1700 to after the Napoleonic Wars. In fact on march 2 nr, they will be reenacting the Texas Independence Day.

very nice Tom the books by author Nafziger on the German battles of 1813 are quite indepth and need to be checked out. side not my wifes relatives village was wiped off the face of the earth by the French while they stayed in and through Deutschland; they the French put the village as with many to the torch due to German resistance.

Tha is pretty cool. I wish we had more reenacting around here. I have a friend down in the US that does Civil War reenacting all the time and it looks like lots of fun for both the actors and the spectators.

alot of time, work and expense, had a former account, he had all the paraphernalia for a Union soldier, did many re-enactments. personally I'll just go to the battlefields themselves which I have done the last 4 years with my Bro and Mrs.
